Was it wrong of me to make up complete journal entries for my Spanish class? Teacher's nice and all, but I hate talking about myself, especially in school work. The "at least five" sentences I have to write for my economics class will be worse. I know I'm gonna sound like a monkey just learning the English language. "My name is Erin. I like bees. I am taking guitar lessons. (He's also the music teacher, and he said himself he'd like to see anything musical if we're involved in such activities. I'd like to stay on his good side.) My favorite color is red. I can't think of a fifth sentence." I should probably just make up something silly. At least that would be somewhat authentic. Elisa lent me the new QAF book. Actually, before I say that, let me tell you what she did first. Bear with me for a moment. Elisa made me sign a contract to borrow the new QAF book. THEN she lent it to me. Contract had witnesses and everything. It's safe to assume she's a freakin' nut. And now for a quotation from the book I'm reading. I would be more original with my tasks, but I'm a bit too uncreative today. Here you is:
Stripped of jargon, what Adler said was this: the perfect schizophrenic--if there was such a person--would be a man or woman not only unaware of his other persona(e), but one unaware that anything at all was amiss in his or her life.
Adler should have met Detta Walker and Odetta Holmes.
I'll leave the author- and book-guessing up to you.
